After learning some urbanitas, and deducing some rules for how verbs work, the Latin Scholars weathered their Prima Probatio, first quiz, this week. Valete!
Students study Latin to improve overall language learning ability and their facility with English while further developing students’ skills in the areas of comparative analysis and critical thinking. Students will become adept at using all verb conjugations in the present and imperfect tenses and nouns in the first three declensions. Students will improve their understanding of grammar. Students will be able to deconstruct and construct words in both Latin and English. A by product of their study will be increased knowledge of Roman culture and history.
