There was no punctuation in ancient Rome, but exclamation points are in order for the first properly submitted Living Latin of the 2009-2010 school year! See if you get it. Congratulations to Latin Scholar James Banta.
Students study Latin to improve overall language learning ability and their facility with English while further developing students’ skills in the areas of comparative analysis and critical thinking. Students will become adept at using all verb conjugations in the present and imperfect tenses and nouns in the first three declensions. Students will improve their understanding of grammar. Students will be able to deconstruct and construct words in both Latin and English. A by product of their study will be increased knowledge of Roman culture and history.
